Tim Hatch

Founder & CEO

Tim Hatch is the driving force behind 858AERO, San Diego’s innovative aerospace distributor. With 15+ years in defense and aerospace, he excels in supply chain management and component sourcing, transforming challenges into efficient solutions. Passionate about cutting-edge tech, Tim leads our mission to deliver compliant, high-quality parts to global defense partners.

Previously, he managed procurement and logistics at major supply chain firms, specializing in electromechanical components and compliance. Holding a Bachelor’s in Engineering from Central Washington University, he’s active in the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA).

Tim champions innovation, security (via CMMC/NIST), and client focus. Off-duty, he explores San Diego aviation, mentors talent, and envisions industry futures.

Macen Hatch

Logistics, Shipping, and Receiving Specialist

Macen Hatch is the energetic specialist ensuring 858AERO’s logistics run smoothly. He handles shipping, receiving, and inventory with precision, supporting timely deliveries for defense and aerospace clients in demanding settings.

A 2025 Westview High School graduate from San Diego, Macen is studying business at Miramar College. His hands-on role hones his skills in supply chain optimization and efficiency.

Fueled by aerospace enthusiasm and strong work ethic, Macen injects fresh ideas into the team. In downtime, he enjoys outdoor adventures and aviation business trends.
